1. Holding Thursday night prayers sessions on an ongoing weekly basis in the present location of the society, which is 10906 Larson Road, Surrey, BC.2. ESL classes have been started and are held on weekly basis, on Saturdays from 2 to 4 pm. Due to lack of fund, there is only one class held, taught by one volunteer teacher.3. Tax Clinic: Fatimia opened tax clinic in the months of February and March to serve the public with low income to file their taxes.4. Blood Donation: A group of Fatimia volunteers donated blood to the Canadian Blood Service Clinic.5. Feeding the poor: Fatimia volunteers distributed food donation to the homeless people in Surrey on November 4th. The "Feeding the Poor" is a random act of kindness to be delivered annually on the day of Ashura or other religious occasions.6. Milad-un-Nabi public event: In order to foster positive relation among cultures and promote public awareness about the peaceful nature of Islam, Fatimia volunteers set up a tent in Vancouver downtown and distributed juice and cookies.
