To educate the Canadian general public, family physicians, specialists and radiation health care workers about the use and benefits of radiation therapy sciences in the treatment, healthcare, cure and palliation of cancer in Canada. To offer funding for scholarships, bursaries and grants for practicing radiation oncologists, members of the Canadian Association of Radiation Oncologists, or trainees in the radiation sciences, including: medical students, residents and post-graduate fellowship Candidates in order to : a) Encourage complete, or enhance their education in the field of radiation oncology sciences in Canada and b) Conduct research aimed at advancing knowledge transfer in basic and translational research, application of innovative technology, and improving treatment for Canadian Cancer patients.
