1) Oral History Project- Life Stories- Record and preserve the stories of Germans from Russia and Eastern Europe, living in Medicine Hat and surrounding area. Committee members will videotape interviews of these individuals. 2) Facilities the growth a local library collection of GR materials.. 3) Future festivals/events such as those held in 2003 and 2005. Daytime sessions with speakers, an evening banquet, a dance and a Sunday morning church service were scheduled. These festivals were self-supporting through registration fees, advertising, silent auctions and donations.
