Protective Health Care Charity located in Tatla Lake, BC.
Services Provided by West Chilcotin Search And Rescue Society
West Chilcotin Search and Rescue provides training to volunteers in first aid, orientation, outdoor survival and ground search and rescue techniques. We assist RCMP, BC Ambulance Service, BC Coronors Service, Parks Canada and the Dept. of National Defence in emergency situations, search and rescue of missing persons, evidence search, emergency evacuations, body recovery, and first aid or as otherwise needed. We promote outdoor safety and education to local community members and to visitors in the area. We assist other search and rescue groups in the BCSAR as directed by the Provincial Emergency Programs.
