Chisholm is a non-profit located in Halifax providing a long-term safe home and programs - a space for children 12 and younger, that specializes in early intervention, prevention and planning. From a place of neglect and abuse to develop skills to be successful and grow into a healthy, stable life.
Chisholm has three main programs:
#1: In addition to our residential program for children under the age of 12.
#2: Chisholm also offers a community based literacy program for children from primary to grade six who are reading below grade level or who have been diagnosed with a learning difference.
#3: Chisholm also provides a monthly group session for parents who have been approved to adopt by the Department of Community Services and waiting to welcome a child into their home.
