Services Provided by Canadian Cancer Survivor Network
A Seat at the Table: CCSN researches available opportunities for patients, survivors, caregivers and family members to sit on cancer and healthcare boards and committees; we develop and offer patient education programs to help patients meet the challenges of sitting on these bodies. Webinars: CCSN produces educational webinars, usually bi-weekly, to provide patients, survivors, caregivers, family members and staff and volunteers from other health organizations with information on managing cancer and survivorship. Website and social media: CCSN provides education and information to cancer patients and survivors, the cancer community, and opportunities for all to participate in activities and boards that include patients. CCSN raises awareness among decision-makers through research on patient needs and responding to consultation opportunities of drug approval agencies. CCSN promotes health and patient input into health policy by continuing to advise stakeholders on patient perspectives on health policy and treatment access, vision and future directions.
