Project Sunshine is a nonprofit organization that provides free educational, recreational and social programs for children facing medical challenges and their families. Project Sunshine sends volunteers to hospitals and healthcare facilities to provide arts and crafts, reading, entertainment and special events. Our volunteers are students, working professionals, artists, athletes and people of all ages and backgrounds who want to bring sunshine into the lives of children in need. Volunteers spend time with children, create gifts to send to hospitalized children, and participate in hospital improvement projects to brighten the hospital's surroundings. Project Sunshine Canada proudly services The Hospital for Sick Children, Mount Sinai Hospital, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, North York General Hospital, The Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, Southlake Regional Health Centre, Oakville Trafalgar Hospital, Brampton Civic Hospital, Montreal Children's Hospital and Rouge Valley Health system- Centenary Site.
