1. Hobbit Hill os one of the longest standing child care programs in the Kootenay Region. Since 1972, Hobbit Hill provided inclusive programming for preschool and school age children. In 2015, Hobbit's 3-5 age Group Program amalgamated with Selkirk College Children's Centre. At Present, Hobbit Hill provides services for School age children ages 5-12 years. 2. Selkrik C ollege Children's Centre is located onsite at Selkirk College, this centre provides quality care to infants and toddlers as well as children aged 3-5 years. Selkirk's Centre offers a variety of fun and educational age appropriate activities. 3. Kinnaird Kids Club is an after school program based out of Kinnaird Elementary School. Kids Club is licensed to provide care for children aged 5-12 years, or grades one through six. 4 Infant Development Program is a home based program. Beginning with initial contact by telephone and home visit, information is gathered to determine the strengths and needs of the infant which enables the Consultant and parents to plan a program and to evaluate the progress of the infant in relation to that program. 5 Supported Child Development Program-is intended for children whorequire extra support to be included in a child care setting because they have a developmental delay or disability in physical, cognitive, communivative or emotional/behavioural areas. 6 Behavioural Support Services are intended to provide individual behavior support to children and youth who ...
