From April to September 2016,Canada Gives completed Phase V of the construction at the Georges Malaika Girls School in the DRC. Three more classrooms were added to the facility in time for the girls to start the new school year and enable the 292 students to complete grade 3. From January to Dec 2016,Canada Gives worked with Hope international in Rwanda to support a microfinance project.At completion,there were 225,000 members participating in 391 new savings groups.
