The Manitoba Housing Authority has contracted over the responsibility of the Deaf Building to 285 Pembina Inc, who monitors the Centre. The Centre provides shelter for deaf, hard of hearing people, particularly seniors. The Manitoba Regional Health Authority has contracted over the personal care home to Bethania.
