The Rose Orchestra public service to Brampton involved preparing and presenting 12 concerts: 6 main season concerts, 2 collaborative concerts which brought together two other Brampton community performing arts groups, 2 charitable concerts for a large seniors complex with many confined assisted living residents, and 2 community free summer concerts. The youth Rosebud Orchestra program presented 3 concerts as part of main series Rose Orchestra concerts, one of which included a composition by one of their young musicians played by the adult Rose Orchestra, and young musicians joined with the adult orchestra in 3 summer concerts. The Rose Orchestra expanded its audience and volunteer musician base, the Rosebud Orchestra expanded in size due in part to the educational experience with modest participation fees and professional instruction, and the groups reached many families and children through a KIDseatFREE family discount program directed toward families with limited discretionary income.
