Between 1 October 2015 and 30 September 2016, I Furiosi Baroque Ensemble presented four concerts: "Game of Thrones" (23 October 2015); "Unrequited" (9 January 2016); "I'll be Watching You" (23 April 2016); and "Fish Out of Water" (24 June 2016). All concerts were presented at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 26 Delisle Ave, Toronto, ON, M4V1S5. In 2015-2016 I Furiosi explored unusual music and themes of the Baroque period using authentic technique. World-renowned guest performers joined the ensemble at all the concerts. More contemporary music augmented the themes and revealed the musical origins of today's compositions. The audience was involved with interactive theatrical presentations of the pieces, augmented with costuming in order to engage people more fully. Close to 1200 people representing all ages and backgrounds attended. The historically accurate concerts included comprehensive programme notes that expounded on the topics and their significance in the Baroque period. The season was made possible by the volunteered time of performing artists, other helpers, and Board members.
