Free lending library of mental health resources. Strengthening Families Together-free mental health educational program for family and friends of loved ones who have mental illness, as well as health care professionals. Hailey's Comments - talk show on local community channel and YouTube about mental health, hosted by puppet Hailey. Nutritional Learning Program- provides one free meal a week for adults with mental illnesses at the Campbell River Beacon Club. They also help prepare, serve and clean up after the meal, while working alongside staff and volunteers at the club. They learn about proper nutrition, budgeting, Food Safe practices, etc Micro loan program for adults with mental illness who need a small, short term loan to help pay bills or transporation to out of town medical appointments. HOPE Awards- Health, Optimism, Pride and Empowerment. Annual event to recognize those who have made significant strides in their mental health recovery.
