The purpose of Junior Achievement is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. This is achieved through the delivery of innovative in-school and after-school business education programs to elementary, junior high, and high school students. JA educates youth, age appropriately, on financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. In 2015-2016, approximately 300 volunteers delivered 250 programs, reaching 5,100 students throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
