Solo Chicken partnered with the Charlotte Street Arts Centre to offer the six month long community arts program, Moving Stories in the low income housing community of Doone Street. The company also launched the first few workshops of their workshop series that offered professional training opportunities for emerging actors in dance and physical theatre. In the Fall of 2016 Solo Chicken ran auditions for the coop and launched a new 'stepping stone' called the COOP CORPS that is focused on training with some performance opportunities. Solo Chicken Productions was also contracted by St. Thomas University to deliver a recruiting 'tour' which offered short performances and workshops to Grade 12 and 11 students across the province.
