The organization continues to assist with the provision of access, support and resources for adults in the South East Region of New Brunswick who seek literacy and learning options so they are educated to their highest level and ability. We do this through Adult Learning Centres in our region (a total of 24 full-time or part-time centres in 2015-2016) and our mobile Digital Instructors who provide computer training to adults in our region. We encourage other communities in our region to establish new Adult Learning Centres. We also administer some Workplace Essential Skills programs in our region in partnership with the Community Adult Learning Services Branch of the NB Department of Post Secondary Education, Training and Labour. In 2015-2015 we added a mobile Financial Literacy instructor and an Interpreters program to assist non-English/French newcomers to our region communicate with various service providers.
