Services Provided by One Girl Can Society
1. We provide university scholarships to secondary school girls in sub-Saharan Africa to advance education in that region. 2. We travel to Africa every year to work directly with the schools and Board of Governors to refine and develop the program. 3. We visit the universities to ensure that the administration of the scholarship program is executed as intended. 4. We conduct seminars in high schools to motivate and build confidence in emerging students who may apply for the scholarships in the future. 5. We keep in close contact with the sponsored girls and monitor their progress in university throughout the year. 6. We provide educational material to local schools in sub-Saharan Africa and we upgrade local school buildings with necessary facilities.
