In 2016 the trust has been involved with our volunteers in physical restoration work at Holy Cross Cemetery. The trust hosted an evening with the Irish Ambassador to Canada. We maintained our website and worked on databases of information to be made available to the public through our website and otherwise. We have participated in an academic research project in collaboration with universities and academics related to the history of the Irish immigrants in Canada with particular emphasis on Nova Scotia. The trust has had activities highlighting the social and cultural legacy of Holy Cross community in Halifax. Many of these activities continue up to the present.
