The Purpose of the corporation is to promote the efficiency, morale,esprit de corps,and reintegration of the active and retired members of the Canadian Special Operations Forces (CANSOF) into civilian life in order to advancethe safety and security of Canada by: 1)providing financial assistance to active and retired members of the CANSOF and their families,or referrals to other agencies; 2)awarding scholarships or bursaries to families of active and retired members of the CANSOF for post-secondary education and professional and vocational training; 3)providing information sessions and mentorship opportunities to assist active and retired members of the CANSOF who are re-entering the work-force;and 4)establishing and operating a museum to exhibit the artifacts,history and traditions of the CANSOF and to educate the Canadian public about the history and legacy of the CANSOF
