The Sctv Monument Society is a
Community Resources Charity located in Edmonton, AB.
Services Provided by The Sctv Monument Society
1)Promote the arts in Canada 2)to place a monument within the City of Edmonton that will advance the public's appreciation for the arts, done through sculpture; 3)to raise funds for the construction of a monumnent that will commemorate the filming of the seminal TV series, SCTV in Edmonton; 4)to provide public assess to the sculptures free of charge; 5)to locate the appropriate plot of land on which to place the monument, and ensure that the statues are maintained once they are erected; 6)to ensure the artist or artists workingon the project will be Canadians, promoting our country's talent in a public space, and 7)to do all other things that are incidental or conductive to the attainment of the above objects.
