The Anglican Synod of British Columbia has not,to date,acted upon its previously announced decision to dis-establish St. Stephen's Church and sell itslands and buildings. St. Stephen's Church continues to be an active Anglican church. Consequently,there is no current need to St. Stephen's Trust Society to take active steps to prevent the sale of St. Stephen's Church lands and buildings or to purchase the lands and buildings from the Anglican Synod. St. Stephen's Trust Society continues to wait for the final decision of the Anglican Synod with respect to the future of St. Stephen's Church. As the Anglican Synod has not reversed its decision to dis-establish St. Stephen's Church and sell its lands and buildings,it is important that St. Stephen's Trust Society remain in existance.
