MLMIF offers a food cupboard, providing healthy food and meals to low-income families. The Clothing Boutique program provides resources to all members of the family who cannot afford clothing in their day-today life or their professional life. Our Language Program, MLMIF provides classes that help out those already in ESL or FSL classes, and facilitates tutoring for pronunciation and conversations skills. MLMIF does annual campaigns that promote the values taught by our founder, Maria Luisa de Moreno to low-income families. The campaigns that we celebrate are: One Day for Kids, One Day for Seniors, One day for Volunteers, and My Plante, My City and Me. MLMIF offers different workshops; Canadian Culture classes - to teach non-Canadians about Canadian culture; R?sum? Workshop - step-by-step instructions on how to create a r?sum? and a cover letter. Job and Interview Workshop - showing job searching strategies and interview strategies; personal finance and strategic planning workshops and Health and Well-being workshops.
