Boys & Girls Clubs of South Coast BC has been serving young people and their families in Bc's Lower Mainland for over 76 years. Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and develop confidence and skills for life. Our clubs and programs promote the healthy physical, educational, and social development of children and youth. At our 12 neighbourhood based clubs, located in Vancouver, North Burnaby, North Vancouver, Langley, Surrey, Richmond, North Delta, Ladner, and Tsawwassen, professional staff and trained volunteers offer affordable programs for children and youth during the critical out-of-school hours. We also offer a residential summer camp (Camp Potlatch), youth and family counselling, substance abuse services for youth, employment services, and parent support and early years programs. At BGC, no one is ever turned away due to an inability to pay.
