TO PROVIDE EDUCATION FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS IN AFRICA. TEACHING ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE TO UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN AS YOUNG ADULTS AND PROVIDING TECHNICAL EDUCATION TO JUVENILE PRISONERS AND PROVIDING TEACHERS AND EDUCATION MATERIALS IN SUPPORT OF THE FOREGOING. Cor Unum Africa Charitable Organization has also an on going project of providing safe clean drinking water to the descendants of African slaves in the Brazilian northwest which has been hit by a devastating drought in these last four years. If they were poor before the drought then after the drought their poverty was furthermore compounded by being reduced to a state of misery. 90 Wells have been drilled to date in order to allow these African slave descendants to first and foremost have access to much needed safe clean drinking water and then go back to producing crops for their livelihood which has been repeatedly decimated by continuous drought. In the end a total of 144 wells will have to be drilled in order to stabilize the situation. All of this made possibly by our Canadian donors.
