The Cedar Community Association operates the Cedar Community Hall which provides rental space for weddings, fund raisers, funerals, drama productions, musical entertainment, etc. The Cedar Hall has been designated a disaster relief centre by the Nanaimo Regional District and as such has been equipped with a generator by the RDN.
