School debates: The Society offers financial and other support to an annual Debate Tournament open to students in Southern Alberta, principally from Calgary and surrounding area. The Tournament is held at Sir Winston Churchill High School in Calgary on the Saturday closest to the 30th of November, Churchill's birthday. Moot Court: The Society supports Moot Court exercises in collaboration with Mount Royal University. These exercises are simulated appeals of precedent-setting Supreme Court of Canada decisions with Mount Royal University students acting as judges, lawyers, journalists and researchers. Court of Queen's Bench Judges serve as chief Justices in the hearings. Scholarships for the top performers in each of the three Moot Courts held each year have been established.
