Services Provided by Halton Women's Place
Two emergency shelter services in Halton Region for abused women and their dependent children housing up to 52 individuals. Staff are on duty at all times and meals, clothing, information, transportation, referrals and other related services are available, including a 24 crisis telephone service. We also provide transitional support services to clients as well as to community referrals from counseling agencies and other services. We have an education program with staff speaking in classrooms in the Halton Region about healthy relationships.
