Conservation Halton is a community based environmental agency that protect, restores, and manages the watershed's conservation ares, forests, creeks, Niagara Escarpment lands, source water protection sites and biodiversity through science based programs. Recreation and education programs are provided to more than 800,000 annual visitors to our parks. the primary mandated programs include environmental protection, water resource management (maintain a supply of clean water), flood protection, environmental planning, forest resource management and education and recreation.
