1 Youth Educaton and Employment Support Project - Grant received from Surrey Homelessness and Housing Society (SHHS) to supply funds to high risk youth to for the purpose of obtaining an education. 2 BC Youth In Care Network Support - Approval by the Ministry of Children & Family Development (MCFD) to use prior year's surpluses, held by Options, to support youth that are in Care. 3 Nicol House Assisted Living - Fraser Health Authority (FHA) funded 6 bed Assisted Living facility with staff on site 7 days a week 9-5 and a nurse making a visit once per week. Site was created by converting one of the Society's congregate houses. 4. Red Cross Childminding - Agreement made with the Canadian Red Cross Society to provide childminding services to Syrian refugees while they search for permanent housing. 5 Early Childhood & Family Check - United Way of the Lower Mainland (UWLM) agrrement to improve early childhood experiences through the provision of a regular child and family check in 6 Avenues of Change - Partnership with the UWLM and the City of Surrey to provide childrens development programming 7 Support on the Go - Agreement with the UWLM focusing on prevention and well-being by promoting mental health in Guildford Family.
