Panel discussions featuring experts in policy, industry, government, and adacemia; two of these events are being run in order to educate the public about key science and policy issues (genomics and gene editing). The goal of these events is (1) to educate the public through popularization of current science and policy and (2) to share the questions and concerns of the public with major stakeholders. We provide students with opportunities in science policy via blog posts, social media, and networking events. We also provide a student perspective for organizations such as the Fonds de Recherche due Quebec and the Canadian Science Policy Conference.
