The Weyburn & District Hospital Foundation Inc. was incorporated on March 10, 2009 under The Non-Profit Corporations Act, 1995, of Saskatchewan and was founded to: 1) raise and collect funds to be used in the construction of a new hospital, located in Weyburn, which will provided quality health care to the public who attend to same; 2) to raise and collect funds to be used in the acquisition of medical equipment as may be required to provide quality health care in the new hospital; and 3) always being mindful of the restricted purposed of the Corporation as stated in the articles of incorporation, and the two forging objectives, to engage in all such other charitable and philanthropic health care fundraising which has as its primary focus the health care needs of the users of the health care facilities
