The Foundation continues to fund suitable families who are experience financial distress and an inability to meet basic needs due to children born with health deficiencies.This year, the foundation was able to provide support to 12 familiies (6 familes in 2015). Fundraising and donations have decreased by 56.4% and 62.3% due to the down-turn in the Calgary and Alberta economies. As such, the Foundation has reduced its operations by 65% while charitable operations have only been reduced by 35% asprior year surplus have and will continue to be used to fund the Foundations charitable programs.
