Services Provided by The United Church Health Services Society
a) To establish, maintain and operate, on a non-profit basis, health care facilities that support integrated multi-disciplinary health services that span the continuum of care; b) To provide health services that promote the spiritual, physical, social and emotional dimensions of health and well-being of individuals and their communities; c) To carry on public educational activities related to the prevention of illness, the are of the sick and advancement of wellness and the delivery and management of health services; d) To support educational experiences for health care students "in training" and practicing health care professionals requiring continuing education e) To acquire and hold interests in, or rights of ocupancy of, land wheether by ownership in fee-simple, lease, license or otherwise for the purposes of establishing, maintaining or operating the hospitals, and facilities that support the hospitals or health care facilities. f) raise money to give grants to sustain charitable projects.
