To gift funds to qualified donees as defined in subsection 149.1(1) of the Income Tax Act that will advance education,advance religion,help to alleviate poverty and homelessness and that will benefit the community asa whole in ways that the law regards as charitable. To receive,hold and invest bequests,donations, gifts,funds, and property, and to administer and distribute funds,endowments,trusts and financial programs for the funding and support of the purposes of the Society as presently set out and for such other organizations that are qualified donees as defined in subsection 149.1(1) of the Income Tax Act in furtherance of the purposes of the Society as stated in paragraph 2 of the Society's Constitution.
