Services Provided by Kawartha Lakes Autism Support
We are parents and caregivers of those that are affected with Autism. We hold support group meetings, socializing and information sessions, presentations by guest speakers, we have our own lending library of information and resources to lend out free of charge, recreational activities for families with an individual with autism, referrals to community groups and professionals, information and resources for professionals, individuals with autism and their families. Community outreach and education through information booths, posters made by the affected families and school children, posters are displayed in businesses and schools in the community. We also raise Autism Awareness by hosting 2 flag raising events at the Lindsay Library and the Kawartha Lakes Police Station on World Autism Day on April 4.
