While our restoration program continued on Phase 2 of 3 program, the educational aspect included many new skills. the assembly of large sections of the aircraft such as the control surfaces, wing assembly and engines. This also included installation of fuel, hydraulic, control cables and instrument systems. This was all performed by volunteers performing several hundred hours of work experience under the direction of our Aircraft Maintenance Engineers. The aircraft was also relocated several miles to our local airport where the aircraft is now in view of the public. At our annual fly-in event volunteers displayed the aircraft to 2 to 3 hundred participants conducting tours and answering questions relating to this aircraft and our resto....
