In October 2015 Charity Intelligence released the preliminary research findings identifying for Canadian donors high impact Canadian charities working on the frontlines providing social services. This ground-breaking charity research gave Canadian donors for the first time one method to compare charities and donate to high impact charities. In addition, Charity Intelligence measured a 4% improvement in charity reports to donors. 92 of Canada's Major 100 charities today post audited financial statements on their websites so donors have better access to financial information. Going forward, Charity Intelligence will outreach to large charities with over $1 million in annual donations to improve financial transparency and adopt best practices from current levels of 55%
