To create caring communities through whole life Christian discipleship with and among residents of inner city neighborhoods in the City of Winnipeg. To operate a community-oriented Christian religious order in the City of Winnipeg in association with MBCM. The organization will own and operate housing in those neighborhoods in the City of Winnipeg. Participants of House Blend Ministries will live in the house(s) owned by the organization for which they will pay rent. Participants will live together, worship together, and volunteer at established organizations within their neighborhood looking for opportunities to involve their neighbors in all of these activities. The specific activities will include but will not be limited to the following: Providing emergency shelter and food at no cost, provide spiritual care and guidance, assistance with meeting basic needs, and volunteering in local organizations with like-minded goals.
