A very important aspect of our work is to advance education in the community where we service by ensuring that all of the children in our program are enrolled in school. Our aim is to provide these children with hope and opportunities to excel in school and pursue education as a means to break from the cycle of poverty. Additional care activities that we carry out include daily bible classes, and various before/after school activities such as music lessons, handcrafting, arts, theater, and English. We also offer counselling and vocational training to the single mothers through a bi-weekly meeting called Parent School. Our house in Columbia is run by 2 full time staff; one administrator and one cook Several volunteers help with different activities on a weekly basis.
