The Fort la Reine Museum has developed interactive museum tours for groups that visit the museum, tailored for school groups, families, corporate retreats, and bilingual and new Canadians. We are curretnly part of the Cultural Access Program, and give free admission to new Citizens of Canada. New for this year is a new script and theatrical tour/play, Mystery at the Museum, Case at the Edge of the Woods; three new travelling exhibitions as noted above, many accessibility upgrades to our facility, a new audio tour guide app/podcast that helps make a self guided tour enhanced, and hands on activties in our heritage galleries as well as many new speakers for our "Meet-U" experts speaking series. The museum will be opening in February 2018 to present another travelling exhibition for late winter/early spring, stretching our season to ten months from five months.
