In 2015/16, funds were used by the library to purchase magazine subscriptions; books, audio-books and dvds for the adult and children's collections; and large-print materials to expand the outreach services program for seniors and shut-ins, the library also purchased step up to reading book bags for new parents and a wireless laser pointer for use at presentations like the Friends Speaker Series and the library's new meet the author' series.
