Goodwill Niagara operated 5 retail store/training centres within Niagara Region. Activities of the agency provide work and training for local adults with disabilities, social disadvantages and other barriers to employment. We continue to operate the "Constructing Our Futures" program, which teaches employability skills through a construction environment. We also support local breakfast programs for students through our "Food for Thought" program. The organization assists the community by providing clothing and other household essentials to persons facing emergency situations such as fire and domestic situations, as well as individuals who are searching employment (providing clothing and personal care advice for interviews). Goodwill Niagara continues to operate Stokes Community Village and the Churchill Residence, which are apartment complexes for low income seniors.
