The New London Rural Community Fire Company provides emergency response to the communities of New London Park Corner, French River, Springbrook, Long River, Graham's Road, Granville, Stanley Bridge and Clinton. Additionally we provide emergency services to part of Cavendish Resort Municipality and thru mutual aid agreements, we provide assistance to neighboring fire companies located in Kensington, New Glasgow and Rustico. The Fire Company's 48 volunteer firefighters are trained to provide emergency services such as fire protection, first response medical care, motor vehicle accidents, ice rescue and water rescue. In 2016 they responded to 57 emergency calls.
