To engage the community by facilitating cultural programmes such as arts studio, live theatre, and book launches and by facilitating community forums such as municipal election candidates debates and town hall meetings. To represent the Fernwood Community as a whole in its dealings with all levels of government around issues of land use, development and community participation. To provide meeting space to community based organizations. To provide land for community gardens.
