We provide accommodation,food,health care and personal needs for children and youth from the Counties of Lanark,Leeds and Grenville who are crown or society wards or who are in need of short term protective care.We investigate reports and ensure the safety of children who are in need of protection from abuse and neglect. Our charitable activities include other special projects: Snowsuit Fund:we provide snowsuits for needy children and youth, Camp Fund:we provide opportunities for children and youth to attend camp and to ensure children have an alternative safe location during the summer, Christmas Fund:we provide funding for toys and other gifts as well as food vouchers and groceries for families in our community that are in need, Opportunity Fund:we provide tuition and other resources for crown and fomercrown wards to further their education/training/ability to become resillentand independent.
