The purpose of the Organization is to recognize excellence in Saskatchewan writing and publishing; to recognize the diversity of Saskatchewan writing and publishing; and to promote greater awareness of Saskatchewan books and authors. Ongoing programs include: an annual awards ceremony, public readings throughout the Province to provide authors an opportunity to meet their readers, author cash awards to provide a financial means for an author to writ another book and to obtain publishing.
