We are actively involved with the West Cutthroat and Bull Trout recovery plans. We continue to provide educational outreach throughout the Castle on biodiversity and best practices for sustainable environment. Each year we look to add new venues to our list so that we may reach the maximum number of people. The CCWC is adding new partners for sharing information, this year we took we were honoured to take part in the Summit on Environmental Awareness hosted by the Kainai Ecosystem Protection Agency. We also hosted volunteer work days to clean, sign and reconstruct, where needed, Trails throughout the Castle and did trail clearing and clean up on the South Fork Lakes and Table Mountain hiking trails. Staff, Board members and volunteers attended stakeholder input sessions on Land Use Planning for Southern Alberta.
