The project of gathering family histories by interviews with children and grandchildren of the pioneer families. These stories have now been published in 8 volumes (50 stories per volume) for over 400 stories. Two new series continues with books on past memories of pioneers who died prior to the museum starting this project in 2006. The other series contains stories of places, events, buildings, disasters etc. that occurred in the are and are no longer in existence.
