The Omega Foundation developes and supports initiatives that promote financial self-sufficiency through microfinance and enhancing the savings capacity and financial literacy of low income families. In addition, the Foundation supports the development of philanthropic responses to community needs. The Foundation has also undertaken the SmartSaver program to help families find out how to start an RESP and how to obtain government funds for their children's education after secondary school.
