Our Motto, "Learning and Sharing", is always the focus of our organization, and includes both religious programs we offer and our outreach activities.During our fiscal year the following programs were presented: - Continuation of the 23-week DVD Course: The Bible Timeline, The Story of Salvation - Retreat Day: Eucharist: A Journey of Transformation, Healing and Discipleship, - Evening Retreat: From Mary's Heart to Yours , - Advent Memorial of our Deceased , - Fridays in Lent: Celebration of Stations of the Cross Community Building Our social activities brought together a variety of people from within our parish community, other local churches and our town community. These events are fun for everyone with the focus being on felllowship. Our events include breakfasts, dinners, a Fall Fair, and sales/donations of gently used clothing. The Selke Centre Lounge continues to be used by parishioners and town families and organization for celebrations, social gatherings, or various business meetings. Outreach Our Outreach program was successful because of the generous donations of clothing, books, household articles, and miscellaneous items that we receive from people who want to help the poor in our midst. The following organizations received donation boxes in fiscal 2016: Diabetic Cltohesline in Timmins- 4; Native Thunderbird Centre in Geraldton- 5; Helping Hands Native Centre Kapuskasing- 20; Connexion Centre in Kapuskasing- 11.
